James Meadows
Director of Engineering


Jim Meadows has served as Director of Engineering for KES Inc. since December 2005.

He is largely responsible for a growth rate of nearly 150% in the engineering services business area. Mr. Meadows has considerable experience operating Tactical Data Links (TDLs), C4I-SR and computer network systems.

After retiring from active duty with the United States Navy in 2000, Mr. Meadows worked with Logicon, Inc. as a Data Analyst supporting joint LINK-16 operations/testing for the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity ( MCTSSA ), Camp Pendleton , CA and the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) in Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

From 1981 to 1993, after enlisting in the U.S. Navy under the Advanced Electronics Program, Mr. Meadows served with distinction onboard the USS TEXAS (CGN-39); USS ENGLAND (CG-22); USS FOX (CG-33); and the USS INDEPENDENCE (CV-62). During this period he also successfully completed assignments with Commander, Carrier Group One (CCG-1); the Service School Command, San Diego ; and the Naval Special Warfare Command, San Diego .

Mr. Meadows is the recipient of two Navy Achievement Medals as well as two Navy Commendation Medals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Phoenix and has also earned a Master's in Business Administration.

Having worked for KES since October 2002 , Mr. Meadows' primary work focuses on managing the day-to-day prime contractor operations and technology modernization of several SSC-Pacific's organizations to include: the SSC Pacific Code 535 Combined Test Bed ( CTB ) and Ballistic Missile Test Bed San Diego (BTS); and the SSC Pacific Code 421 Network Integration & Engineering Facility (NIEF). Collaterally, Mr. Meadows serves as a member of KES’ Business Development and Professional Development/Training teams.
