KES Awarded Subcontract in Support of SEAPORT-e Task Order to Provide Computer Aided Design Support to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard

SAN DIEGO, CA – KOAM Engineering Systems, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract in support of CDI Marine with a task order to provide computer aided design (CAD) support of the Planning Yard at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) in Bremerton, WA.

In accordance with the task order, KES will provide support as a subcontractor to CDI Marine. In this capacity, KES will provide Engineering and CAD services for various PSNS & IMF Planning Yard Ship Change Documents (SCD) for Aircraft Carriers (CVN), Dock Landing Ships (LSD), Amphibious Command Ships (LCC), Mine Counter-measure (MCM) Ships, Patrol Coastal Craft (PC), and various Yard Craft (Barges).

Despite competition from other parties, CDI Marine was awarded the cost plus, fixed-fee contract and will receive support from KES. The majority of work will be completed on-site at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & IMF (PSNS & IMF) located in Bremerton, WA.
