Nathan Tran
Director of Client Engagement


Nathan Tran serves as the Director of Client Engagement, overseeing execution and performance of all KES contract projects and programs, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational objectives. He’s responsible for the development and implementation of program operational strategies to drive growth and maximize output while minimizing costs. Mr. Tran manages overall service delivery, internal organization, and planning for initiatives such as company growth strategies, client relationship development, and mentoring management team. He is also responsible for strengthening client relationships and addressing service product quality deficiencies, while also managing contract engagements and opportunity assessment for pursuit.

Having worked for KES since 2005, Mr. Tran has accumulated 20 years of experience in a broad range of technical, engineering, and design in C5ISR, TDL, and Weapons Systems. He has supported varying roles in systems engineering, system design and development, system installation/integration, troubleshooting/repair, testing, and training. Additionally, Mr. Tran has served as project and program manager supporting various DoD agencies within or directly supporting US Navy, Marine Corp, Army and Coast Guard customers. Mr. Tran also has 15 years of business development experience which entails customer engagement, teaming structure, staffing planning, proposal development/management, and cost/price analysis. From 2000 to 2005 Mr. Tran served as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy having managed the Communications Work Center and all aspects of HF through EHF communications system sustainment.

Mr. Tran has obtained a Master of Business Administration, with emphasis in Technology Management and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from National University.
