Peter Schuster - Director, Finance & Accounting

Peter Schuster is Director of Finance and Accounting for KES Inc. Peter is responsible for all elements of KES’ accounting, finance, treasury, forecasting and financial compliance functions and provides financial guidance to KES’s Executive Team. He serves as the Company liaison to its financial service providers and government audit agencies. Peter has over 20 years of experience in DoD markets, having served in senior finance roles in Fortune 100 companies and venture backed start-up companies.

Prior to joining KES, Inc., Peter Schuster served as Director of Finance and Administration at Innovega, Inc., a venture backed smart glasses med-tech company serving the DoD and commercial markets. Peter was responsible for managing the Company’s accounting and finance function and serving as the finance liaison for multiple rounds of venture financing.

Prior to his tenure at Innovega, Peter was Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Leidos, Inc. (formerly Science Applications International Corporation). At Leidos Peter was responsible for all elements of the acquisitions process and post-closing integration activities, and managed the negotiation and closing of over 25 acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investment transactions, with purchase prices ranging from $2 Million to $500 Million.

Peter Schuster is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science of Accountancy, Summa Cum Laude, from Villanova University.
