SAN DIEGO, CA – KES Inc. (www.kes.com) founder and CEO, John Yi, was invited to participate in an executive roundtable discussion hosted by the San Diego Daily Transcript along with a small group of prominent leaders of the defense community in San Diego.
The discussion was focused largely around budget cuts in defense spending and explored some of the strategies companies like Lockheed Martin and Boeing as well as small companies like KES and Sentek were using to stay competitive even as DoD contract opportunities diminished. A resounding theme throughout the discussion was a need to be able to adapt to the ever shifting needs of the market.
“These budget issues are impacting companies all through San Diego so I’m honored to have been invited to participate in this roundtable with a group of such distinguished and insightful people,” said Yi. The discussion was held at the offices of the San Diego Daily Transcript on Sept 10, 2013.
